Does Medical cover the plastic surgery?

Does medical cover the plastic surgery?I am about to have the surgery but I already have back problems(one of the reasons I am gonna have this surgery).So I was wondering if anyone on medical has had plastic surgery covered.    — Joy S. (posted on November 8, 2004)

I go in this Friday for PLastic Surgery and mine was covered by my meidcal coverage however they found I was approved due to the infections I get undr my skin folds

Please take some time to read this site for questions on PS. Not all medical insurances cover PS. WLS and PS don't go hand in hand. There has to be a medical need. My insurance is covering my PS but I still have to pay 6,500 out of my pocket. If it is important you may have pay for it yourself.
