Question:
How much time should there be between taking calcium citrate (by mouth) and iron?

I believe one hour before or two hours after.

That question was asked to our nutritionist at our support group meeting
and she said that a minimum of 2 hours after your take your multi with iron
or just your iron that you can take your calcium citrate. Then the two
hours should be sufficient time for your body to absorb it and you will not
have a problem with the calcium citrate, your body should be able to
utilize it. The iron interfers with the absorbtion of the calcium citrate.
I usually take my multi with iron at about 6am and then take my calcium
citrate anywhere from 11-12. I also take another dose of calcium citrate
with my dinner. Hope that makes sense.
