Why hasn't Dr. J.M. Balliro in Tallahassee Fl submitted his bkgrd info for viewing

Don't know about his travels, but as for posting info on the site, it is nothing suspicious - most of the docs in my area are on here in name only - no stats or background listed.

I know nothing about your specific doc- but just want to say that my doc has not entered his info either, and isn't required to- and it doesn't make him less of a sugeon. I would rather have him operating than surfing ;) I love this site a lot, and know plenty of other people who do too, but.... this is a third party site, and the info on here is voluntary and anecdotal. Just in my state alone only a tiny percentage of the docs have entered their info. If you want to learn about a doctor, ask the DOCTOR (or his/her office)! Sorry to be harsh, but anecdotal info is just that. The closest you could get on this site would be to go to the doc's page, and try to contact some of his post-op patients. Everyone I have ever tried to contact has been really nice. Just don't hold it against a surgeon because he hasn't filled out a page on a website. Good luck to you.

If you're talking about why he hasn't submitted info for this sight its probably very simple. This isn't a medical board or anything official. For your other question I think you need to contact his office and simply ask. Perhaps he has an associate who covers his patients while he's gone, but the only way to know is to ask. BTW, its ALWAYS better to find out info first hand from the doctor you're going to be relying on that from us, especially something so crucial.

I don't know if he is in Florida much , but I do know he has a practice in Jackson Wyo , he did my wls there , and he is almost always reachable on his cell phone.
