Hello:
I had the same problem with one of my incisions. It even drained a little
yellowish fluid. It concerned me so I called my doctor, but they said just
to let it close, and watch out for redness, swelling and a fever (a.k.a.
infection). I kept it bandaged, and after several days it had sort of dried
shut, and now its fine. Of course, everyone is different, so you may want
to put a call in to your doctor just for peace of mind. If you do develop
any of the symptoms of infection, be SURE to call your doctor imnediately.
Good luck!

Hi Julie, I had that happen at the bottom of my incision. It was only open
a day or so then I sprung a leak. I had drainage for a whole day almost of
clear pinkish liquid then it stopped. I called my surgeon in the middle of
this and they said to keep an eye out for infection and keep it clean. It
closed up on it's own and is a bit more of a scar there but otherwise fine.
