Help! Need a letter of medical support!

Hi, I need your help! I've left 4 messages in the past 3 weeks at my bariatric surgeon's office requesting a letter of medical support for reconstructive surgery (panni removal and breast reduction). When I had my 6 month checkup, she said she would write such a letter, however, getting this letter is proving harder than I thought. I had my plastic surgery consultation yesterday, but he will not submit to insurance until he gets a copy of this letter from my bariatric surgeon. I was hoping that someone would send me a copy of their letter from their surgeon that I could submit to my doctor for signature. Maybe this would make it easier for her instead of her having to type the letter herself. Thanks for your help!    — Jean B. (posted on September 17, 2002)
