Question:
Does anyone know where I can get information for my Grandparents about the importance

of family support when one is having surgery? MY Grandmother is interested in more information about all aspects of my upcoming (8/19/02) surgery. I have printed out the good and the bad, pre-op and post-op, nutritional info, and health info. I was unable to find anything about the importance of a support system. I had done the same regarding providing information. Finally, my parents came with me to the local support group. Seeing the incredible variety of people - ages/ sizes/ experiences gave them all the info they needed (and then some!)
