Question:
looked in Q&A...pain in right side-3 1/2 weeks post-op- could it be gallbladder?

I am 22yrs old and 3 1/2 weeks post-op. I am seeing my surgeon on Monday (july 1). I have had pain on my right side for the past 4 days now that is starting to radiate to my back. It's not dipilitating, but it gets sharp sometimes, and it does hurt. I don't know what it is. I have lost almost 35 pounds already from LAP RNY. I don't really think it is gas, and my BMs are fine. I'm scared about gallstones and kidney stones and am really unfamiliar with things like that, but was not put on preventative medication for gallbladder, unfortuantely. Sounds like galbladder to me. thats how it STARTED to feel when i had problems with mine. Go find out now if that is what it is. Because if it is, the pain will get MUCH worse, and you really dont want that.
