Question:
Will I get any hepl from insurance?

I am kind of depressed. I am 18 months post op proximal rny and down 165 lbs with about 30 lbs to go. That is not the depressing part. I need my arms done and my breasts lifted, I need my thighs done and a Tummy tuck. I have had no rashes and no infections and no hernia. I have had 2 bouts of back pain that needed pain meds, and I have a burning pain in my breasts when I take off my bra. Although my insurance will and has paid for these surgeries they will do so if it is reconstructive. My gastric bypass surgeon says my skin is good and that does not work in my favor. Has anyone else been in a situation similar to mine and still had insurance pay? I could never afford all of that myself.    — claire C. (posted on March 18, 2002)

I havent had my surgery yet, but I work for a Health insurance company. Its not only what probelems you have already experienced but problems that may occur. I would check w/the dr's and call your ins to see what their requirements are. Good Luck! Mindi
