Question:
Diet on a new job suggestions?

I have recently been hired on a new computer job. I am 5 weeks post op. I start Mon (Feb. 25) My Question is what should I do about eating? Do I eat meals at my desk between lunch and going home? If so, what are some suggestions? Please help if you can. Thanks.    — Kary H. (posted on February 21, 2002)

I always tried to have a low fat string cheese or two with me in case - I guess a protein bar or drink would work too. Good Luck!

I'm going back to work in 1 week. I have always carried my lunch to work and eaten in the caf with my friends. You can bring tuna and crackers. Get some tupperware and carry some Hormel turkey chili. Some lentil soup.I have been taking turkey (deli) and cheese with mayo and making roll-ups.Egg salad. I love sardines but they may be too stinky for the new job, :-)

I usually eat at my desk, but if you don't want people asking why you eat lunch 3 times a day, you might eat snacky stuff. A protein bar is good, or a piece of fruit with cheese. Protein drinks, yogurt, deli meat with crackers . . . Stuff like that probably won't raise eyebrows.
