Question:
Has anyone experienced pain in the stomach before eating?

I have experienced an pain in the stomach area before I eat. Upon eating it goes away. This happens every 4 hours. I asked my doctor about this and he said it could be hunger pains. It's like a hollow feeling. Sometimes they are very sharp stabing pains. If anyone has experienced this, how long did it last. I am 31/2 monts post-op.    — Carol P. (posted on August 11, 2001)
