Question:
Are there any support groups in the Houston, Texas area?

There must be some serious lack of communication in Houston, as I have seen
this question posted NUMEROUS times in the past few months. Yes, for
pete's sake, there ARE support groups in Houston. Please check the library
on this site. Your surgeon's office may know of some also. I live in
Virginia, but just from recollection from the many, MANY, times this
question has been asked, there is a meeting at Park Plaza Hospital on
Sundays, I think.

Sure this question has been asked many times before, But WE yes you
anonymous poster have to remember that some people are NEW to the Q&A
list and have not seen the answers before. I know of a support group
forming at Cy-Fair hospital, first meeting is Aug 18th. Feel free to email
me and I will put you in touch with the coordinator of the meetings...

I heard the Cypress Fairbanks first meeting is on Sunday, August 19 at 1
p.m. There is also a meeting the first Sunday of each month at Park Plaza
Hospital. I too, am tired of impatient, anonymous posters that
"put-down" instead of helping to encourage and inform. Chill out!
