Question:
I'm schedule to have surgery on July 13 and my pre-op test are on July 09, but my

doctor didn't mention a psy test. My orders are for lab work and x-rays. Did he forget, or am I exempt?    — [Anonymous] (posted on June 19, 2001)

I am scheduled to have surgery on July 27th and my doctor has not mentioned a psy evaluation at all. From what I understand, not every doctor gets them.

Sometimes your insurance require you to get a psy test.I'm having surgery on June 25 and I had my psy test a month earlier before I was approve for the surgery. Basically its up to your doctor and your insurance co.
