Question:
Would it be possible to start a support group named after AMOS?

I would like to start a support group in my area and name it the Southwest Missouri Chapter of the Association for Morbid Obesity Support. I have inquired about this and gotten no response. This is such a wonderful organization, and I want to extend it on a local level. I would be willing to look into paying dues to the site, etc. I have asked this before and gotten no response. I already have several people who are interested, and if I can't get a response, I guess I'll have to use another name. I hope someone will let me know the legalities behind my suggestion or give me permission to use the name. (And yes, I have emailed the webmaster to no avail.) Thank you AMOS friends!    — Shirley P.
