Question:
Does anyone have problems with taking vitamins"
I'm looking to have surgery done. My question is does anyone have problems with taking vitamins — patti M. (posted on February 6, 2001)

I am one week post op. On the way home from the hospital my husband ran
into Eckerd's and bought me some Centrum liquid vitamin. My first thought
was "oh, gag", but it is not really that bad. The liquid pain
medicine tastes a lot worse. I have heard there are other liquid vitamins
that are supposed to taste better, but the Centrum is fine for me.

I take Physician's ProCare multivitamin with iron. It's chewable and
pleasant tasting. Toll free, 888-807-7622.

You need many vitamins. Opinions differ. I "suggest" B-12
(sublingual), folic acid, potassium, Iron, D, E, C, Multi, Zinc, Citrate
w/D&E, and possibly biotin, to help prevent hair loss. You can discuss
your specific needs with your doc.
