I had WLS 8/29/00. I have not even come close to "up-chucking" but if I'm not constantly sipping water, eating ice, or taking some sort of intake my stomach feels funny. Not hungry, just unsettled. Feel free to e-mail a response. [email protected] — Kevin K. (posted on September 16, 2000)

I assume you are still on liquids? Once you progress to purees, soft and
then regular foods, this will likely abate. In the liquid phase, your
stomach empties immeadiately, but once you begin solids, your stomach takes
longer to empty. You should have a more 'normal' sensation and be more
satisfied then. Until then, keep sipping...it's healthy and will keep your
energy and weight loss up. Good Luck!

I had the same sensation and was told it could be a little air. When I
started taking Tums in the am before I did my vits and protein my tummy
felt better. The Tums was recommended for the calcium. Trina
