I'm almost certain that there has never been a single person in Texas approved for weight loss surgery. ::::big grin::::: Find Peers is a great tool here on AMOS. If you click on Find Peers, then click on TX, (or follow this link, http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/showpeopleinstate.phtml?State=TX ) you'll find a whole list of Texans who are post op. Try Dr. David Provost in Dallas. Last I heard, he takes medicaid.

The medicaid program is a federal program but I think that each state administers it. I think! There have been people at this site that has had wls through medicaid. Hopefully they will respond to your question. Good luck!
