Question:
Treadmill Recommendation
A very kind person told me of a Pro-Form treadmill that was sturdy and held up to 350 lbs. I wrote it down and lost my sticky note. Will that person kindly respond to me or anyone who knows the model? Thanks. — [Deactivated Member] (posted on January 27, 2000)

I do not know about the Pro-Form, but, just my two cents worth. My doctor
suggested, since I am morbidly over weight, I might want to think about a
non-impact walker with moveable handles. He is worried about joint
problems from the weight and the impact of walking might have on my feet
and knees. I purchased one and am thoroughly amazed with it. Try one out,
you might be impressed and there is no pounding on the joints.

I have a Pro-Form treadmill that I purchased about 3 years ago from Sears.
I don't really remember what the weight recommendations were on it but it
held me at my highest (292). I hope this helps.

I have been using a TRUE treadmill for the last couple of years. It is an
excellent piece of equipment, and can hold easily more than 300 lbs.
