Question:
Are their any Surgeons in Maryland that accept Freestate Carefirst Insurance?

My doctor is having trouble finding a surgeon in his medical group, that does the bypass surgery, and I don't know what to do. I have called every surgeon in the insurance book, and none of them do this surgery. I am frustrated, and I am confused. Does anyone have any answers for me, what do I do now?    — Lakeisha P. Go to the home page on this site and go to "find a surgeon". There are 2 listed in Maryland, one in Silver Spring and one in Baltimore. If these two aren't in plan, you may have to consider going out of state to someone in neywork or, asking to go out of network. Good luck.

Dear Lakisha, If an insurance company does not have a provider with the experience or expertise to do your surgery will allow you to go out of plan. Now, you might have to pay a small amount more for the service but, it is worth calling you insurance company about. Good Luck. Jeannnette Cheeks
