I am sorry but I do not know about the site or the product but it seems awefully high priced to me. I no way spent that much money on my PO supplements, foods or liquids. I purchased a mini food processor and processed my own blended foods with it. Even if you add up the foods that I needed to purchase for my husband's 6 weeks PO life after his surgery did it even come close to $300 combined for the both of us. We had our open RNY's 4 months apart.

Ya that is a Bad Deal, I just check out the site and you can get everything there at a whole sale story for cheaper price by the time you pay for S/H. That $ 25.00 fir a cup!! Come on... and the spoons you can get at Walmart for $4.00 a bag of 100 or so. The food is questionable, but I found out that my taste had changed so I got a varity of sf jello and sf pudding at a buck a pop, and then I got some low sodium broth and sf popcicles that was what I mainly was on for the first 4 weeks. Then I add some protein drinks in there also. Those are the ones that you need to order samples of as alot of people have trouble finding ones that they like. A place where you can get samples is at, "The Vitalady" the website is as follows. www.vitalady.com. I wish you good luck and see ya on the melting side.

I tried so many diffrent kinds of protein shakes and protein food. I bought off the internet and in store and found that the expensive internet food is not worth it. First off you do not want to buy food that is too expensive becuase you may not like them. If you order off theinternet you usually can not return what you do not want. Second you can find simular quality and taste at your local health food stores such as GNC and you can return unused portions to get your money back for what you do not like. Finally I have found that eating suggested meal plans by nutrionist that I still get in all nutrients required. This way allows me to shop for my whole family instead of buying seperate food for me and seperate for them. The only supplements I take is liquid protein. 2 tblsp =20 grams of protein, most shakes and bars are about 15 grams and they taste horrible so it is much easier to swallow 2 tblsp as opposed to 10-20 oz of something you can not stomach. I tried everything with the protein shakes mixing fruit making smothies and they just have a unbearable taste. I am a little over 7 months out and my blood work and all is great no complications and I have lost 100.7 pounds. Do not allow yourself to get caught up in all the meal replacement hype. Change how you prepare your foods and make healthy choices. I feel this will help ou to make a life time commitment to change. Good Luck Jesy Girl 307/206

What's wrong with you Americans? Everything you need to eat is in REAL food! Not in all those stuff your industries are trying to persuade you are good for you! Check the amount of proteins in 100 grams of fish or cottage cheese and compare the price! Iron is contained if all dark green veggies: COOK them! As for vitamins C kiwis, oranges, etc will do better and will satisfy your appetite alot better. If you really need to invest money, buy a good cook book full of recipes to lose weight with a balance diet. I leave in Belgium(Europe), am 8 months postop, have lost 90 pounds. I eat normal food, and take everyday one iron tablet and every three months a shot of B12 vitamins. My labs are excellent and I feel great! Good luck to you! Solveig

ya know, if you wanted to add your advise about what works for you, that's fine, but the "what's wrong with you americans" comment could have been omitted. The american's and others are following the advise of their doctors, but just need a little extra advise from people who have been there. Just my opinion.
