Question:
Does anyone know of a WLS friendly family Doctor in central Ohio?
I am re-starting my journey after failing two years ago. I am with a different insurance company now, and I am starting from scratch. My family physician that I had the last time I tried this, was not supportive at all. Anyone have any good WLS-friendly Physicians in central Ohio? — Denise P. (posted on March 15, 2004)

I go to Dr. John Krupko. I was the first patient he had who had the RNY
done. After my success, he started referring other patients who were
morbidly obese for the RNY. He's also an endocrinologist in addition to
being a PCP so he's used to seeing very overweight people and sympathizes
with them.

My PCP is Dr. E. Legg at Tri-County family physicians in Lithopolis. He
has several patients who have had the surgery so he is very familiar with
the follow-up required. He was very supportive and helpful through the
approval process and he has worked very well with my surgeon regarding my
follow-up.
Good Luck

My PCP is Dr. Bradley Lisko. His office is in Westerville. I know he has
at least two WLS patients. He was extremely supportive to me.

I have Dr. James Soldano on Livingston Ave. and he is very supportive of
the surgery. He couldn't believe his eyes when he saw me post op. He said
it saved my life!
