Question:
Has anyone tried the Quaker Crisp'ums baked crisps? Or the Quakes?
I am warning you all, DON'T DO IT! It's a conspiracy by that smiling Quaker guy. Darn it if I didn't kick my Carmel Corn Quakes addiction. Now those sneaky scoundrels have come out with baked crisps available in a variety of yummy flavors. I succumbed to the Banana Nut ones...5 grams of sugar in a little snack pack. The best of both worlds...a crunchy cracker and it's lightly sweet. Evil! Pure evil! BEWARE! ;) - Anna LAP RNY 7/3/02 — Anna L. (posted on May 18, 2003)

I haven't tried them, but I make something of my own. Take a regular or
fat free flour tortilla and cut it into 6 or 8 wedges. Spray both sides
lightly with non-stick spray (like PAM), and bake in 350 degree oven until
crisp. Sprinkle with a mixture of fructose and cinnamon. Quite tasty!

I love em. LOVE EM. But can eat too many of them. I did just find an
awesome substitute, though -- Glenny's Soy Crisps. Just as tasty
(especially the barbecue ones!) AND higher in protein. Good luck, and be
careful of evil Quakes!
