Hi there! I can't answer your question specifically, however your kidneys
are located in your lower back, and if you are having extended pain in the
same spot, I would definitely contact your doctor and go in for a check up.
Better safe than sorry!

Janine ~
I was going through the same thing as an immediate post-op and then again a
month ago. I had it both times for 3 weeks exactly. Just as I was about
to go get an x-ray the pain went away. I would go get it checked out
though! I wish I had.

Not to scare you Hun... But I am also 5 months post op and down 75 pounds,
I was having the same problems weekend before last and had to go to the
ER... they found I had a very bad kidney infection and a kidney stone, The
doctor put me on antibodics and some pain meds..Thank goodness I passed the
kidney stone and I feel fine now... I would advise you to go to your doctor
and get checked and be sure to drink alot of water, water , water!! Hope
you feel better soon.
