Question:
Does Aetna US Healthcare - QPOS plan cover psychiatric or nutrition eval?

I am trying to find out if anyone with Aetna US Healthcare - QPOS plan - was able to get the psychiatric visit or the Nutrition evaluation paid for by insurance? If yes, can you please let me know who you saw that was on the plan. Thanks, [email protected]    — swatters (posted on April 14, 2003)

I was told from a friend that had the surgery done (has the same Aetna PPO) that basically they covered her Psych exam. I am not for sure about her nutrition evaluation. I know when I went to see a nutritionist my insurance (Aetna PPO) did cover it. Sorry If this isn't that helpful to you. You might want to call around to Psychologist and find one that takes your insurance. Good luck.

Aetna will cover your psych evaluation but will not cover your nutrition evaluation.
