Question:
I have been having fairly severe abdominal cramping for about a week. I am a nearly
8 month post-op (open RNY 7/25/02) and have been doing great. I am down 140 pounds to 195. This cramping comes whenever I eat, no matter what or how much I eat. I have also been constipated for about a week (not nothing at all, but not enough). I was in the ER on the weekend, and had an xray, and they say no blockage. I'm about ready to overdose on raisin bran! Please give me any advice for relief! — AmyL (posted on March 18, 2003)

You need to see your doc/ surgeon about these symptoms. IT could be so many
different things. Good Luck

Could it be your gallbladder? I didn't have normal symptoms when mine went
bad. Good luck!

To help with the constipation, try a glycerine suppository. They are quick
and easy. They will atleast make you more comfortable. Good luck.
