There is a support group that meets in the EastGate area. It was started by
a member here whose name is Sandy. If you go to imnotfatanymore.com there
is info on the website. There is also one that meets at Christ Hospital
but I dont remember the name of the person who runs it. I think it meets
monthly.

There is a support group that meets at University Point in West Chester on
the third Thursday of each month. It is for pre-op and post-op patients.
It is excellent! At the December meeting, they had Dr. Gersin's largest
patient he had done a lap RNY on. He is doing great and gave a lot of
advice on post-op issues. They also discussed addictions - how sometimes
people substitute other addictions for food addictions after surgery. Dr.
Alexander is part of the same group of surgeons. E-mail me if you want
more info.
