Lap RNY after radiation treatment for cervical cancer?

Surgeon concerned with healing at the point of reattachment because of damage which may have been done to the bowel by abdominal radiation. Anyone experienced this after lap RNY? Problems with healing? Leakage?    — Pat B. (posted on January 13, 2003)
