Last poster is right....lots of folks making money off of us. The best
vitamin I found is a chewable prenatal that I got my surgeon to prescribe.
Its called "Nutrinate". Insurance covers it, its chewable,
slightly tart but not bad at all, and has everything we need. Best of all I
only have a $5.00 co-pay.......

Please, please, John and Keniki, don't criticize the "Isotonix"
vitamins until you have tried them because they are awesome!! I'm sure you
both would agree if you knew exactly how wonderful these products really
are! I have been taking the "Isotonix" brand for 6 years and
absolutely LOVE THEM!!! What isotonic means is that they are in a form
that allows for IMMEDIATE ABSORPTION! Any time you eat or drink ANYTHING,
including chewable vitamins, it MUST be broken down into an isotonic
solution in the stomach before ANY absorption can take place in the small
intestines. After it is broken down into an isotonic solution, it just
means that the nutrient can pass freely through the cell membrane and into
the cell, which is exactly where you want it to be in order for it to work.
That's why "Isotonix" vitamins are perfect for EVERYBODY!! The
entire "breaking down" process in "Isotonix" has
already been completed by the manufacturer. Technology is beautiful and it
proves itself in this fabulous vitamin line just like it does with WLS.
Where would people be without that!! There are many incredible products
out there if you spend your time researching them. As a registered nurse,
nutrition has been my passion for many years, and I felt that I had hit a
goldmine when I ran across "Isotonix". You have to try them to
appreciate them! I hope this info helps you Karen. God Bless!!

I agree with Patty. These vitamins are really good and they taste like
Tang. I can stand taking them because you mix them with water and drink
them and voila! That is it for the day. I do take an additional calcium
plus before bedtime though. I love them! And my labs have been great so
far! Why do you guys have to be so skeptical and think everyone is just
out to make a buck? No matter what vitamin you use, you have to pay for it
and I have found these vitamins to be very reasonably priced. I use the
"pee test" on my vitamins. If you take your vitamins and then
your urine is bright yellow, you are "peeing" away your vitamins.
With isotonix, this doesn't happen so I think they are being absorbed as
the Isotonix brand is supposed to. I want the best vitamin I can get! Try
them before you judge, ok?

Marilyn is right...I don't want to be bald with a hump in my back..We have
committed to this for the rest of our life..might as well use something
that works. For me personally being distal, I had to take 9 of the Vita For
Life Vitamins..that is taking them all day, so of course I was doing well
to take half of what was needed which will not work. You guys had better
check on the delivery of the vitamins you take and how much goes "down
the pot". You cannot pretend that you have a normal system when yours
is compromised..you will pay the price in the long run for saving on cheap
vitamins now.

Hi, I did a little more research into this line of vitamins and wanted to
add this to my answer. The vitamins are perfect for EVERYBODY as Patti
stated because the reaction that occurs in the cup when you add water is
what would occur in a normal functioning stomach. The vitamin is broken
down and is absorbed immediately. Isn't that perfect for us? Also the
product is great for elderly folks and for normies too. My normie husband
loves them. I really like the antioxidant blend. I still take B-12
injections though as I am not sure anything can top the injections for
absorbtion. The calcium is not all citrate but partly citrate BUT there
are other forms of calcium in it and with the isotonic reaction IN THE CUP
before you even drink it, we still absorb all the calcium. Barbara
Thompson author of "WLS Finding the Thin Person Hiding Inside
You" has lots of information about them on her website
[email protected]. Check it out and then let everyone know what
you think. We must have open minds to new progressive technology that is
before us and take advantage of it. Thanks!

After posting my response to this question on 11/29 I received many emails
asking for more info as well as ordering info. The website for the
"Isotonix" vitamins is: pattischmoldt.unfranchise.com You are
welcome to email me with any questions regarding "Isotonix"
vitamins.

I find it amazing that the vitamins that are "the best for us"
are only available through franchisees/distributors. When distributors
such as Barbara Thompson are looking for additional distributors to work
for her, it sounds an awful lot like a multi-level marketing deal.
<p>
I have a question for the Isotonix & Seasilver reps - if Isotonix-type
or Seasilver-type vitamins were the best for us, then why wouldn't the
major vitamin companies be producing them?

Isotonix Vitamins are the available through an MLM (Network Marketing
Company) called Market America. I did try these - taste to me was BAD and
gritty. My Flinstone Chewables work very well - taste better and cost MUCH
less. They get into your system just as fast. And your body will always
eliminate excess water soluable vitamins that it does not need (ie. the
'pee test').
