Help! I need a support Group in Central Florida!

I live near Winter Haven/Lakeland Area of Central Florida. The hospital where I am having surgery is a 4 hour drive (Shands in Gainesville FL)I would love to find someone to talk to closer at home. Dr. Tenewitz is starting a support group in Orlando, FL soon. I think it is starting next month. Also Dr. Butler has a support group that meets in Altamonte Springs. Watch the calendar and they will show up with info and directions. I too was supposed to have surgery at Shands, but that fell thru because it took them over a year, when I moved to Dr. T it took a couple of months. Take care and good luck.
