Question:
WLS-familiar PCP in the Seattle area?
I will be moving to the Seattle/Kitsap county area in about a month. Does anyone know of a primary care provider that is familiar with the DS (or at least WLS, in general) in the area. Thanks. Thanks, Phil Mitchell Rabkin/Rossi DS 03/11/02 -103 — Phil M. (posted on July 16, 2002)

Hi Phil,
I live in Seattle. Dr. Thirlby at Virginia Mason did my surgery. My PCP is
Dr. L. Keith Dipboye also at Virginia Mason Hospital in Downtown. He was
very supportive of me having this surgery and had no problems with getting
a referral to Dr. Thirlby. He works in the Internal Medicine department and
is fairly young. Hope this helps.

Hi Phil. My surgeon is Dr. Ki Oh in Federal Way. He is an excellent
surgeon and has a wonderful aftercare program. He is a wonderful man (once
you get to know him) and has done surgery on those not just from Washington
State, but from all over the country. He has also taken over the
responsibility of those who had surgery out of state or out of the country.
