Question:
Has anyone experienced elevated Creatine levels in their blood post-op?

I am 7 months post-op and recent blood work has shown elevated creatine levels. My doc says this is an indicator that my kidney function isn't what it should be and we are running more tests to find out what is going on...I'm not sure this would even be related to having had WLS (probably not, and doc isn't treating it that way), but was hoping that someone may have some information to share. Do you mean creatinine? Where was the BUN level? How far out of whack was it? Were any other readings higher than the last set of labs & the ones before that? Sometimes, it can just mean we were a little dehydrated that day. But it depends on how bad it is. Are they following on this?
