Question:
I am sure this has been adressed before, so I apologize, but I am 4 months post op

in the last few weeks the metalic taste has returned. I did have it right after surgery and it went away about 2 months post op, but now is back... anyone no why or have this happen?    — Marcie B. (posted on February 11, 2002)

Did you have a scope (EGD) the first time around? Or did they just treat with meds? How does water taste?

This happens to me when I am in ketosis. Try drinking more water and if you are having absolutely no carbs, add a few - not candy but crackers or mashed potatoes.
