Question:
Pouch size--is mine bigger then 2 oz?

I am about 10 days post op and I have only been eating 2oz size meals but I am able to drink much faster. I can drink pretty fast without feeling full. I am afraid to eat any more then 2oz to find out just how big this pouch is. Did my surgeon make it to big ?? I can drink about 8 oz in 15 -30 min.. Help!!!!!!    — Bev L. Your normal, liquids go right thru the stoma, but solid food passes very slowly. I am 4 months post op and can drink 2 cups of water very fast, although I burp when I do this. But eating is a slow process. Relax your doing fine. DONT test your pouch at this early date, you could cause a leak.
