Question:
Has anyone fought an exclusion for obesity using Mobid obesity as a diagnosis?

i have fortis ins and they have exclusions. will not treat obesity or weight reduction. but it dont say a thing about treatment for morbid I have a chance to appeal if treatments for morbid obesity and gastric bypass obesity. kim at bariatric of michigan said that i may have a chance to fight them on this exclusion seeing that they dont say a thing out treatment for morbid obesity. has this happan to someome .would like to know .    — cindy M. I hate that so many of us have to go through this. I did, and appealled but it got me no where!!! ( except depressed) I hope you have better luck. I got a new job that has insurance that covers WLS.
