Question:
Has anyone had this condition before surgery and what happened?

What have you tried to beef it up? And over how long a time? Once these elements are depleted, you can't really turn 'em on a dime. It takes time to plump up the organs & tissues again with good health and THEN you get the labs to show the improvement. Not like anemia where you see the difference in a week. In what form have you been adding protein?
