Question:
I want to know if c-sections interfere with surgery

I had a C section in 1992 with my first son. It didn't hinder my ability
to have the surgery. All the surgeon really needed to know was how I
tolerated the anesthesia and actually I had an epidural. So there is no
problem with a C section and WLS. I also have a friend who had surgery 3
weeks ago and she has had 2 C sections, one just a year and a half ago.
Good Luck...

I had a c-section in 1987, and it actually prepared for WLS...helped me
remember how to get out of bed properly and realize the pain was just
temporary. It also assured me that I could do well after major abdominal
surgery. Medically, however, it had no bearing on the surgery whatsoever.
Good luck to you.

I had my c-section in 1989 & my open <a

surgery in 1999. It wasn't an issue with my surgeon. Good luck to
you....~~

I have had 3 c-sections, the most recent in January of this year. I am
scheduled for open RYN in Feb. The c-sections were not considered to be an
issue at all.

C-section in 1996, RNY in 2000. Don't know about post-op c-sections, but
wouldn't think they would be a problem.
Best wishes!
