Question:
Has anyone had their surgery done by Dr. Allen Brader @BTC in Langhorne, PA?

Did Dr. Brader use to practice in North Carolina? If it is the same doctor, he is the best surgeon I have ever had. His care and program were excellent. He only left this area because he got run out by politics at the hospital he used to practice at (not anything he did, the politics of bypass surgery. No hospital in our immediate area now does it anymore, except the two university hospitals). Really, he is the best and I miss him and his office already. I had my surgery one year ago October 6, 130 pounds down, zero complications (haven't even thrown up once in all that time). Good luck.

Dr. Brader is a wonderful surgeon. I did not have my surgery with him, but know of several who did. I had my bypass before he was doing them, but would have gone to him were he available. He did leave b/c of the hospital he was practicing at. They are short on OR space and would rather have a $100,000 heart bypass filling the room rather than a $20,000 gastric bypass. Pity.
