Question:
do anyone in the st. louis missouri area know of a dr. that accept ghp insurance.

well my insurance which is ghp say that they cover the surgery but all the dr. that i have contacted say that they dont take ghp for what ever the reason is and i desperately need the surgery and i have tried newstart and they say that they dont take ghp insurance anymore and i tried contacting the dr. personally and they say that they dont take ghp so if there is anyone out there that can help me with this problem i would appreciate it very much    — vern993 (posted on August 31, 2004)

I do not know if he does for sure but you could contact Dr Norbert Richardson, his office is in Washington, MO but he does his surgery at St Alexius Hospital the number to his office is 636-390-2397

Dr. Richardson did mine through the New Start program at St. Alexius in Dec. I would call your pcp and ask them to give you some names then call Dr. Scott and ask him. Check out the names in your provider handbook, might even be done online. Dr. Richardson works with Dr. Delattore for a couple of other programs in MO asside from New Start that might accept GHP. You're lucky your insurance covers it. Let me know how it goes or if you need help, I'm fairly close........Nicole :-)

Dr. Eagon at Washington Univ. did my surgery at BJ hospital. He is absolutely wonderful but I am sorry I don't know what insurance he accepts since I am a self pay. I don't have the number with me but it is Wash. Univ. weight management program. Good luck.
