Thank you all for your posts. I am currently awaiting approval from BCBS of MN and have a BMI around 40 and weigh approx. 100 pds over my normal weight. It is so nice to read that other people like me who may not be 200 pds overweight also see the need for this surgery. So many people say i don't need it, but I know I do and that's all that matters. Hi Nadine! I had a lot of people tell me that I didn't need the surgery and that I didn't weigh enough to qualify, but they were just ignorant. This is the best thing that I EVER did for myself. I have my life back. Good luck to you! Barb 4/07/03 235/134/130
