Was going to order from Laurens Hope when someone brought a gorgeous bracelet to our support group from a newbie company on ebay called 'Creative Medical ID'. I browsed their 'store' online at ebay and bought a beautiful jeweled piece with 14kt gold tag fully inscribed for 1/2 of what something of the same quality would have cost at LH. if they look too much like jewelery.....it might not get noticed. ER doc told me this. i was just wondering also...do you need the bracelet for other medical problems or just for wls?

The actual www.medicalert.com site has them as cheap as stainless to 14kt gold pieces. However, you can register with medic alert without buying their jewelry.
