Question:
How do hernias make you feel? Bloated? I feel bad..................

I can only tell you what my hernias were like. I developed 2 hernias at the incision about 1year post/op. I had no pain, no discomfort. I noticed it at the gym, doing stomach crunches, I had a bulge pop out, looked like the movie "Alien". About 3 weeks before my surgery I strained myself at work and did tear the hernia. I had to take it real easy until surgery. But as for feeling bad and bloating---no. Now I have found out this year that I'm severe Lactose Intolerant-pretty nasty. Whole other story. (It's on my profile along w/info) Either way-pleae give your PCP all your symptoms. Both are treatable. Good Luck!
