Since surgery, I have had high bilirubin counts. Have others experienced this...

Hi, Tonya: Mine were a little high also when my pcp checked them, but she just said we'd keep an eye on them. I go for my 3 month check-up in a few weeks, so I'll see what my surgeon says, if anything. Good luck!

Hi Tonya, all of my liver enzymes including my bilirubin counts were elevated after surgery for several months. My surgeon ran blood test every month and after about 3-4 months everything came back to normal. He said it was not uncommon. I am sure your surgeon will keep an eye on this for you. Good Luck
