Yes, I have Priority Health and after several months I finally have been approved, there are a lot of things that you have to meet.

I was denied twice by Key Benefits. My husbands company was self-insured and so they actually have alot of pull. When my husband turned in his resignation they told us that they could've "worked with us" to get the surgery approved. You might try going thru your HR dept.

Try to get your co to change the exclusion next time they negotiate with the health insurance co.

I have united Health Care PPO as my primary. The company that I work for has an exclusion for weight loss surgery. My secondary Blue Cross Blue Shield of S Carolina paid. Well they will pay as soon as the insurance billing is filed first through UHC for denial and then they will pay.
