I don't know what a resource drink is, but I had a difficult time early
post op getting in any fluid. Our surgeons wanted us to drink the 64 oz.
of water a day, and I didn't come anywhere near that for a long time. I
can now (2 years post op) drink a 30 oz cup of coffee on the 10 minute
drive to work. It'll get better before you know it. Hang in there and
good luck.

Just remember to drink tiny, and I mean tiny sips at leaST 5 - 10 min apart
and don't rush it!
I took sips that were too big and it was painful as all get out! woo!

Don't worry about that stuff now just concentrate on keep in what ever you
can get down. Your body has a reserve, you are going to be using your
stored up protein, iron and other good stuff. In time you will be able to
get down what you need. Congrats! Welcom to the thinner side of life!
Hold on and have faith everthing is trail and error!

There may be another way to get your protein if that oe bothers you. Some
of the powders mix up thin in water.
