I used Diabetic Tussen for mine and it is great. you can buy it over the
counter. Also that is what my surgeon recommended.

an old home remedy that worked for me. Take grapefruit, skin and all, cut
into 1/4's and boil it in enough water to cover - oh squeeze the grapefruit
first into the pot before dropping the skin and membrane in. Once it's
reached a boil, remove and strain the liquid. Sweeten with enough splenda
to tolerate it and sip it while it's good and hot. I also lather my chest
and neck up with Mentholatum (just keep it far from your incision - ouch!
Good luck and hope you feel better soon!

We were told (and I'm taking this directly out of our book we were given)
no asprin products (advil, ibuprofen, aleve, excedrin, etc.) but that
Tylenol (and all of it's offspring - Tylenol Cold, etc.). The asprin
products apparently put you at risk for an ulcer.
