Question:
What is approximate cost of EGD or ERCP?

I would like to know the average cost of an EGD and/or ERCP before insurance. I know this will vary but just an estimate would be helpful.    — Jana R. (posted on August 4, 2003)

I am in WI and the surgeon bill was right about $800 and the hospital bill was approx. $1250. Fully covered by my insurance. However, I had it at a hospital that is much more reasonable than most in this state so I'm guessing the hospital costs could got quite a bit higher.
