Question:
Do the bra shoulder dents go away after the weight is gone?
I was just wandering if after you lose all your weight the dents in your shoulders from your bra strap ever go away? — joann B. (posted on January 8, 2003)

I lost a total of 150 lbs. after my WLS. One of the first really nice
surprises was the appearance of my collarbones again....they had been gone
for a long time. One more thing in a long list of surprises was the
DISappearance of those ugly dents in the tops of my shoulders. I am still
pleasantly surprised when I look in the mirror and see quite lovely and
well-defined collarbones and shoulders....it will happen for you too :-)
Best wishes!

YES!!! Thank God! I have to mimic the last reply in that I am starting to
actually like the appearance of my shoulders now that they are getting
defined and that I have collar bones! lol One of the best things about it
though...in keeping with the bra theme...is that I can go to Victoria's
Secret to get bras now! I love everything about the place...the smell, the
design of the store (love those little draws with all the cute
undergarments), and the prices are GREAT! I just caught their 25% off sale
and got 2 bra and panty sets for $40! I remember the days of a single bra
from Lane Bryant costing $28! I especially love the nice little bags and
pretty tissue paper that they wrap my items in...AHHHHH...! Ok, I've
digressed...Anyway, I have gone from a 42DD to a 36D so far. The bra marks
in my shoulders are gone and I never knew that I would love underwear
shopping so much...and I haven't even lost all of my weight yet. (down 114
so far with 50 more to go!)
