I got a snow cone machine for x-mas and i was wondering if there are any sugar free, and tasty ways of making snow cones. Thanks — Amber F. (posted on December 25, 2002)

Try adding a 1/2 cup or less of water to sugar free kool-aid and use that
as your syrup.

you can also use 100% juice consentrate instead of syrup if you can
tolerate the natural sugar in it! (i can not handle artifcal sugars, so
this works for me)

When I came home from the hospital after my surgery, drinking water was
really hard for me and my husband went out and bought a sno cone machine
for me. It worked wonders and I added SF kool aid to the ice. It was
great tasting and made my stomach feel good.

I would have my hubby make me slushies in the food processor with 100%
fruit juice, crystal lite or sf Koolaid. I suppose you could make the
mixes a little on the strong side and that should work.
