Question:
Does food churn in stomach and come up 20min - 2 hrs later
I thought it was a stenosis problem but the upper GI today revealed no blockage. They think the esophagus and intestines are squishing it back and forth into a frothy mix and then I get sick. It might be stress related due to horrible conditions at work. Anyone else ever had this? Sometimes an ounce of water and I get sick or half a popcicle. Solids stay in stomach and come up an hour or two later. Yes I chew well. Any ideas? — Thomas M. (posted on August 9, 2002)

sometimes certain foods just don't agree and don't digest. I have had this
many times with the heavier protiens, eggs and meat. I have thrown up 5
hours after eating something. I now wait 60 - 90 minutes to drink after I
eat. I find if the food is slow to digest the water hurts my stomach and
then I am puking. Stress can bother your stomach with or with out the
surgery! good luck Bethe Midler
