Well tell us more but it sounds like you have a bug of some sort. We all
get bugs from time to time BEFORE surgery. It can and does happen after
surgery as well. <P> I had a problem like this post op a month or
two. I fretted so much, and it was just stomach flu, but biy was I sick.

I know it sounds silly, but write down everything you are eating, including
the little snacks. Maybe you can find what's been bothering you by looking
at your diet on paper. Dumping is trial and error. You could be doing
something daily that is bothering you, like drinking coffee. Maybe you
can't tolerate caffeine. Sometimes I dump on really odd things. Like I
found out the hard way, I can't tolerate grapes the other day. Good Luck!

Denise, tried to go to your profile to get more info on you, like when you
had the surgery, but nothing much to go on. You'd have to answer some
questions, first, like when you had the surgery and exactly what
"dumping" is occuring? For instance if you are barfing non-stop
whenever you eat, and are 4-5 weeks post-op or more, you may have a
stricture. If you are getting flu like symptoms after eating a particular
food, then figure out what is in that food-there are hidden sugars in some
foods, and stay away from it...but without more info, hard to advise you.

Watch out for sugar alcohols. It's a kinda sneaky way to put sugar in the
foods we eat. I know a lady who had RNY a year ago and she still dumps on
sugar alcohols like sorbitol as one 'for instance.'
