Question:
Is it possible for secondary (wife's) policy to cover me if primary wont?

I've read of many people who've went thru their spouses policy when their own primary turned them down. The key seems to be waiting for the rejection from your primary. Good luck to you!

Yes. If the primary insurance won't cover the surgery but the secondary will, they will pay for it. You would just need to submit each bill to your primary insurance carrier and then when they deny the bill, send that bill with a copy of the denial to the secondary insurance carrier to pay for.

Get a copy of the denial. Send it to the secondary. If the secondary does not have an exclusion, you should not have a problem.

Absolutely! And depending on what type your policy is, your deductible and copays may not apply.

Get a copy of the denial. Send it to the secondary-----Oh dont do that! More fire power to say no. Just apply for the surgery thru the secondary as if they were prime. Both should have been done at the same time. If you want to ask questions, email me. This is what I do for a living. Claims Coordination for health insurance between two companies.
